Ride further with less effort. The Merida eBig Trail is a hardtail MTB that gives you an electric bike boost for easier riding.

The lightweight Technoformed 6061 aluminium alloy frame features aggressive trail geometry for confident handling on the rough. Unlike many other ebikes the chainstays are nice and short for nimble handling on technical trails.

Boosting your natural pedalling power is the Shimano 250w STePS motor that is combined with a 500Wh battery pack to give you long lasting performance. There are three power modes, along with a walk assist button, so you can adjust the power output, managing the battery capacity to last the whole ride. The handlebar mounted display unit allows you to monitor the battery and select the power modes on the fly.

Ideal for hardtail mountain biking, the 650b wheels are shod with 2.8” Maxxis plus sized tyres which offer extra grip in the corners as well as more ‘float’, soaking up the lumps and bumps on the trail for a smoother ride.

Up front the Suntour Auron fork gives you 130mm of plush suspension travel to tame the trail. The Shimano Deore 1×10 speed drivetrain offers secure shifting with a wide range of gears so you can ride every trail with ease. When the trail points downhill the Shimano Deore hydraulic disc brakes offer powerful stopping control thanks to the oversized disc rotors.
