The QNO-7080R from Hanwha’s Q Series affordable network camera line is a 4MP bullet network camera featuring WiseStream, Hanwha’s compression technology, triple codec H.265/H.264/MJPEG, 2.8 ~ 12.0mm motorized varifocal lens, IR, IP66, IK10, PoE/12VDC, 120dB True WDR, Defocus Detection, Hallway View, one-way audio and SD card slot (SD/SDHC/SDXC up to 128GB).
The unit’s varifocal lens provides wide horizontal views (up to 109°) and allows the desired viewing angle to be easily set during installation. Wide dynamic range (WDR) is supported, enabling details in scenes with bright and dark areas to be viewed clearly. Additionally, Hallway viewing mode is also supported and helps to maximise the area of interest in narrow scenes by vertically orientating the video stream.
Configurable video motion detection and tampering alarms can be set to trigger recording to the on-board MicroSD card and also inform users of activity via email notification. The unit’s integrated I/O ports allow the connection of external devices to enhance alarm signalling, and a microphone (not included) can be connected through the audio I/O port to enable audio recording.
Power-over-Ethernet supplies the unit with both power and network connectivity via a single cable – resulting in a quick and cost-effective installation. In addition, WiseStream technology is also included to help lower bandwidth and storage requirements.
